Julie Chen Moonves hosts the sensational summer reality series Big Brother, which returned for the 22nd season on August 5 on CBS.Chen Moonves was among the first hosts on the Emmy-nominated Daytime talk show The Talk, serving as moderator and host from 2010 to 2018. The real reason she was interested in the show came after she began writing and received an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for hosting, and an award-winning comedy talk show. The Talk is a show which analyzes current affairs with five female hosts. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS Newsthe weekday morning show The Early Show in 2002 in 2010 and then became the host of the talk show. Prior to that she was the news anchor of The Early Show and anchor of the CBS Morning News, the CBS Television Network's early-morning, half-hour broadcast.Chen Moonves covered several major storylines on The Early Show, including the war of 2003 in Iraq. Following the 9/11 attacks, she traveled to Cairo to conduct an interesting and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news programme, profiling celebrities like Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was a reporter with WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton in Dayton, Ohio (1995-1997). Her previous jobs include working as a reporter for ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliated news service (1992-1995) as well as a desk assistant within ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) as well as completing her final year of college in the University of Southern California. It was her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel on the Columbia duPont-winning program Anatomy of a Riot which focused on the Los Angeles riots of '92.
